The model 3512XL, contains twelve 10/100 ports and two GBIC based Gigabit Ethernet ports. Each 10/100 port is autosensing and supports full-duplex data transfers, for up to 200Mbps of dedicated bandwidth per port. Each of the two full-duplex Gigabit ports delivers up to 2Gbps bandwidth to a range of GBIC transceivers, including Gigabit Ethernet backbones, Gigabit Ethernet servers, the Cisco GigaStack GBIC, and other switches. The Catalyst 3512XLs 10Gbps switching fabric and fast forwarding rate (up to 6.5 million packets/sec) ensures that each port will always be able to perform at its maximum capacity.
